ABORIGINAL ALBERTANS IN BUSINESS SERIES

A series of business guides designed to meet the unique needs of Aboriginal entrepreneurs starting or expanding a business has been created by Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) and Alberta Economic Development.
The Aboriginal Albertans in Business Series, developed by The Business Link Business Service Centre, offers universal business principles and resources targeted to meet the needs of the Aboriginal community. These guides will help prospective Aboriginal entrepreneurs decide if starting a business is the right choice, and provide information on business trends and industry sectors that offer the greatest opportunity.
Through the Canada/Alberta Western Economic Partnership Agreement, the federal and provincial government each contributed $115,000 to The Business Link to develop and provide new business information products and services for Aboriginal entrepreneurs. The Aboriginal Albertans in Business Series is one of several initiatives designed to serve the Aboriginal community.
