Portfolio Structure
The current Chief of the Blood Tribe is Charles Weasel Head *. The following
individuals are councillors (Elected - November 2008)
 
 
The Chief and twelve Councillors are elected to four-year terms. The structure
consists of three pillars,

Four councillors are assigned to each pillar, with the responsibility of acting as the committees for all department and entities within that pillar. 

There are certain exceptions among the tribal entities, which combine Chief and Council representatives and elected or appointed public representatives on their boards of directors.
